Profile
After finishing my PhD at the
University of Leeds, UK, where I worked on development of rapid and sensitive
detection methods, particularly immunoassays, for the study of low molecular
weight components and contaminants of plant-based foods in food and human
tissues. Since then, I have focused on food safety and quality;
aflatoxin/mycotoxins; dietary exposure; biomarker; human health risk assessment.
I am also interested in assessing some dietary intake related to quality of
life among citizens to build a vibrant society that follows the Kingdom’s
Vision 2030.
